Here's finally an update on my life in the mountains yet again! I've moved back to the "Porte de Soleil" Ski area, and have discovered the most amazing place to enjoy a summer season. I was lucky enough to be asked back the hotel I worked at in the winter, for another season and have now taken on a much larger role. I am not the Hotel Manager of a hotel in the French Alpes. Looking back, I cannot believe that I managed to get this far on a working holiday visa!
I've been lucky enough to be able to travel a little while on the season, and me and the rest of our 4 man team took a trip to Yvoire, which is on the south side of Lake Geneva. The views are stunning and the old town is gorgeous. I was drooling from the mouth looking at all the old architecture and history of France's "most beautiful town". We stopped and drank an espresso by the Lake Lemon, stopped for a homemade gelato. Everything had come to life with flowers and blue skies! It was so nice to get away from the high up alpes to get down to the valleys even just for one day. Take a look below at the gorgeous architecture and the beautiful views below!
If you've read all the way though to the end of my blog, give me a little like so I know you've enjoyed my story!
